Petrified Rock National Park:
I just saw pre cambian rock that is 3 billion years old and drove through big horn national forest with the most beautiful greens, angles and flows like a melody.
Yellowstone:
I spent a day exploring a real life amusement park. Yellowstone is so astonishing that I feel like someone is putting on the show. It’s like a movie set but with the spirit of nature and the wisdom of all who came before it. I’ve never appreciated our nation’s history for what it is, i’ve slowly began learning but it was here well i felt the spirit of the pioneers discovering the frontiers of this great land we live on - it’s unlike any history lesson or experience i’ve ever had. It’s the foundation of our national parks and the inspiration of our nation’s leader to protect these lands we’ve come to learn and love for times to come. I’ve never encountered so much honest kindness or had interactions where people were so down to earth and not in a fake way. I saw flowers i’ve only read about growing within fields and meadows of the most beautiful grasses. Streams and water are the nurturers and source of this land and it’s many features - without it at every turn yellowstone would not be the fertile and unique dichotomy that it is and has been. I saw bison laying within fields of grass and elk walking through parklands. Wooden sculptures of bears and moose were common in shops we stopped at. It seriously felt unreal - like those cheesy movies but i’m telling you it’s how it is there and it doesn’t feel cheesy it feels like you are a part of history.
